Encyclopedia of American Studies
"Under the sponsorship of the American Studies Association (ASA), the Encyclopedia of American Studies, brings together a wide range of disciplines related to the history and cultures of the United States, from pre-colonial days to the present. With over 660 online, searchable articles and biographies and accompanying bibliographies, the Encyclopedia of American Studies supports research and study in a wide range of courses and assignments at all levels." ASA database of American Studies journals 
"A one-stop shop for the latest research published in American studies journals throughout the world. Organized by the International Initiative of the American Studies Association and funded by the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation, this site is the outcome of a collaboration between numerous journal editors around the world."

American Studies Crossroads Project
"A project geared toward international networking and curriculum innovation, especially related to the integration of new technologies as well as electronic literacy and other aspects of faculty development. The Crossroads website is a space for collaboration and innovation in American Studies. 
Crossroads is a project of the American Studies Association with sponsorship from Georgetown University and in collaboration with Washington State University."

"A member of H-Net Humanities & Social Sciences OnLine, H-Amstdy provides a forum for research and teaching in the field of American Studies in the United States, and for interdisciplinary or multi-disciplinary perspectives on culture. The list focuses on the cultures of North America and the United States, and offers an international perspective on the study of American culture."

European Association of American Studies (EAAS) discussion group
"A mailing list for American Studies in Europe, moderated on behalf of the European Association for American Studies by Jaap Verheul (University of Utrecht). The purpose of this mailing list is to distribute information about American Studies in Europe. Through this list you will receive calls-for-papers and information about activities pertaining to the field of American Studies, and related fields, such as American history, American literature, American culture, and American society. This list will also serve to disseminate information from the EAAS and member associations in Europe."

EAAS Postgraduate Forum
"The EAAS Postgraduate Forum was established with the specific role of facilitating postgraduate links across Europe." Hedejeh Mohammad (hedejeh.mohammad@gmail.com) is the current representative for Belgium; Hedejeh graduated in 2012 from the American Studies program at Ghent University.

Aspeers journal for American Studies postgraduates 
"Aspeers is the first and currently only peer-reviewed print journal for MA-level American studies scholars in Europe. It is a platform for the best work done by American studies graduate students below the PhD level. It aims to foster academic exchange among young Americanists across Europe, and to thereby advance the field as well as its genuine European perspective on ‘America’ and its presences and effects around the world."

Transatlantic Studies Association
The Transatlantic Studies Association aims to provide focus for transatlantic area studies and bring together scholars from different disciplines in order to further research and understanding of transatlantic relations. The association is holding its 13th annual conference at UGent between 7 and 10 July 2014.

Their America: America in the Eyes of the World
"Their America is devoted to significant expressions (speeches, essays, political cartoons, fiction, news stories, etc.) about America by non-Americans. Our major objective is to create a global, synoptic site for Their America, an unpolemical, informative, and provocative resource not just for ‘American Studies’ scholars around the world, but for anyone interested in studying and debating the international reputation of the United States."
