Submit your complete application package

Once you've compiled all the additional application materials, you are welcome to submit your application. All application materials should be submitted electronically, as .pdf or .docx attachments, in consecutive emails. Send all documents to americanstudies@UGent.be. Be sure to fill in the subject header of the email in the following way: “Application_Family Name_First Name_2015-2016”. If the material is too extensive to send by email, you can request a dropbox link to upload the material in that way.

Once all of your application materials have been successfully submitted, you will receive an email confirmation from the program director. Only complete applications will be evaluated. Bear in mind when making preparatory arrangements that the admission decision process takes an average of one month from the time the completed application is received.

Note: International students requiring a student visa should be aware that it takes approximately 3 months to obtain a student visa from the Belgian embassy or consulate in your home country. We encourage all students to submit their application materials as soon as possible.
